Eparchial Commission of Youth Affairs
The Eparchial Commission of Youth Affairs is a ministry of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Eparchy of Toronto and Eastern Canada which focuses on introducing youth and young adults to Christ and nurturing their relationship with the All-Holy Trinity. The work of this ministry flows from liturgical renewal and acts locally within the Eparchy. Existing parochial initiatives are supported predominantly through raising visibility using digital tools and fostering cooperation between already existing parochial youth groups, university chaplaincies (St. Sophia’s- MASI) and public Catholic education (Catholic School Boards etc).
During the 2026-2027 ecclesial year, a youth/young adult led Great Vespers service on Saturday nights will be initiated at Holy Eucharist Parish, and a youth and young adult room will be established at this parish for future programming.
