• August 1, 2026 – Fr Petro Hrytsyk, previously administrator of St Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church in Windsor, Ontario, is appointed pastor of this same parish.
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Volodymyr Yanishevsky is appointed rector of St Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral in Toronto, Ontario.
Administrator:
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Victor Nazartchyk is appointed parish administrator of St Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Welland, Ontario.
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Mykhailo Postoliuk is appointed parish administrator of St Catharine of Alexandria Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bond Head, Ontario. He is also appointed parish administrator of Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church in Barrie, Ontario.
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Michael Bombak is appointed parish administrator of Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Toronto, Ontario.
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Volodymyr Krivoglavyi assumes his role as parish administrator of St Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church in Kingston, Ontario.
Parochial Vicar (Associate):
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Ivan Herasymliuk is appointed parochial vicar of Holy Protection of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church in Toronto, Ontario.
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Ivan Dyriv is appointed is appointed parochial vicar of St Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral in Toronto, Ontario.
Other clergy changes:
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Roman Rytsar assumes his role as Visiting Priest of St John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Shrine in Ottawa, Ontario. This appointment is made with the agreement of Fr Damian Dutka OSBM, Provincial of the Basilian Fathers in Canada.
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Volodymyr Yanishevsky is released from his office as Archivist of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Toronto and Eastern Canada.
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Roman Lobay is appointed Archivist of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Toronto and Eastern Canada in addition to his other responsibilities as pastor and vice-chancellor.
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Andrija Petresin is released from his office of parish administrator of St Catharine of Alexandria Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bond Head, Ontario. He is also released from his office of parish administrator of Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church in
Barrie, Ontario. He remains parish administrator of St Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church in Tiny, Ontario.
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Roman Dusanowskyj is released from his office of parish administrator of St Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church in Welland, Ontario. He remains parochial administrator of St John the Baptist Hungarian Church in Welland and pastor of Sts Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church in St Catharines, Ontario.
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Andrij Figol is released from his role as Chair of the Eparchial Commission of Youth Affairs (UCETEC).
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Michael Bombak is appointed as Chair of the Eparchial Commission of Youth Affairs (UCETEC).
Sabbatical:
• August 1, 2026 – Fr Roman Pankiw, celebrating his fortieth anniversary of priesthood, is released from his office as rector of St Josaphat Cathedral and is beginning a period of sabbatical. He is available for Sunday substitutions if any priests are in need of coverage.
